The name of the female percussionist has been found. She is Choe Hye-rim 최혜림, a former student of the Mangyongdae School Children’s Palace. Her photo and name appear on the wall at 5.12 in this video:

I have already watched this but I have not seen the Percussion women on the wall. Also next to her you see the name of the chongbong Band Drummer. Thanks!

The name can be read though unclear, seems to me to be Ri Hyok Chol 리혁철, but of the face I can say nothing definite. The general shape of the man is the same as the CBB drummer, I agree with that.

Saw that too. When the Seoul concert has been televised too, I will write a little analysis about the two concerts.

The concert was indeed a Chongbong Band performance, with Samjiyon Band also being in the spotlight in instrumentals. The target audience planned in Pyongyang clearly were older South Koreans, and older South Koreans indeed appear to have been most of the 150 000 people who applied for the tickects. Younger South Koreans in average, according to various studies, are not very interested in North Korea.
So interesting that even in this concert the orchestra played almost the same medley of European popular classics that they usually do. Those songs really must mean “internationalism” in North Korea. There were of course a number of additions.

Not really, I already wrote a part, but I dont have any time to finish the article. School is pretty demanding at the moment.

Completely understandable. There are periods where normal life demands our total attention. No hurry. If you at one point have any use for the newest version of the orchestra photo, here it is

No guarantee of the correctness of everything. But perhaps the names of 29 people related with the Samjiyon Orchestra are now known.
